  • Located at the Escalon, CA Manufacturing Plant (union-facility) – Home of tomato puree, crushed tomatoes, canned tomatoes, marinara sauce for popular restaurants such as Papa Johns Pizza and Olive Garden!

Work Schedule

  • In Season includes Monday-Sunday during the months of July- October (3rd shift hours required from 10pm-6:30am)
  • Overtime may be available/required based on business need and time of year
  • Year round employment during the months of November-June (Monday-Friday)

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for operation, maintenance and repair of all seamers and capping machines
  • Adjust and set seamers and cappers to give accurate closures
  • Test seams by cutting - inspection and micrometer
  • Order or list parts and install as the need arises
  • Supervise changes of dies in printing stamps
  • In off-season, dismantle and overhaul seamers and cappers
  • Supervise stamping code on lids and adjust dies
  • Guide seamer operator/dyers as to accurate stamps to use

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Must be at least 18-years of age
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule per the business needs peak seasons including 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift hours and overtime
  • **Experience in can manufacture seam specifications role or equivalent **
  • **Experience in calibration seamers/assigned manufacturing specifications **

Additional Requirements

  • This position is considered a Manufacturing plant environment with heavy machinery and equipment. Additionally, this role requires frequent standing and walking around the plant.
  • Frequent standing, walking and prolonged periods of working on feet performing repetitive actions.
